Now it's almost impossible to believe that the fossil fuel lobby has been misleading us, isn't it?
Who cares?
I haven't any children: it's not my kids and grandchildren who are going to have to deal with this all.

It's been going on as long as I can remember.

I understand the natural disbelief that accompanies the politicization of science, but the degree it continues is unbelievable at times. I've tried to live by a "It's a strong theory, but it could still be wrong" philosophy regarding global warming, but the opposition pushes me further and further into the 100% sure group. Sadly, this confirms how people end up on the other side as well, and I can't wait for some stronger and less controversial evidence to surface.

Theres a wood cutter that comes into the place I work, he likes the way I cook. He was trying to sell cut wood to some of our customers, and they complained about the price. I said the price was high because there aren't enough trees to be just wantonly cutting as much wood as folks wanted, to keep down how much was cut and sold. His response? There's more than enough trees between Canada, Africa, South America and the northwest part of the US. As if, until we run out of trees, there's more than enough to sell fire wood.

I suppose he has to think this in order to sleep at night and go to work the next morning. If not, he is working and his work directly is leading to a possible ripple effect which will in all likely hood kill his children's children. Strange what you can convince yourself when it is easier to ignore truth in order to do your daily routine, no?

Politicization of science is as healthy as a well-bribed jury...
