On the morning after the referendum I posted this:

Now I'd been wittering on about Northern Ireland and Scotland before the referendum, but that was called "Project Fear". Now, with a slight delay, we find that most of the warnings given by "Project Fear" are pretty much spot-on.

Now Lionel Barber is the editor of the Financial Times.

I thought the Scottish independence referendum would be a once in a lifetime event, or at least a once in a generation one. However the conditions are now so different from the first plebiscite that it seems entirely legitimate for the Scottish Nationalists to ask the independence question again.

It is not looking good for the Union. And we know where and to whom* to assign blame, thank you.

* Hint, it is not the immigrants' fault.
