Somewhere over the rainbow....

Dating Pools

xkcd....brilliant.
For some reason or other this resonates.
However, I doubt I could date anyone half my age plus seven (which is 30). In general I prefer women my own age. Not that I'm excessively prejudiced against the young.

And every day, I grasp more and more of how generous that is. My gosh, people my age are exasperating.

I like that standard creepiness rule at this moment for myself. Going under that means handcuffs, and in a bad way. That negates that "Oh wow, I'm getting close to 30" feeling I've been sharing with my brother the past few weeks.

So you wouldn't turn down a pretty college girl who threw herself at you then?

I don't find women who are under 22 interesting as a rule of thumb. But I'm 24 and, in the US, there's a buttload of growing up that happens in those couple years.

i find young people more or less irritating. but then, i am irritable.

as well as people who stay in and make graphs, i am a person of limited going out, and people used to tell me i would never meet a man in my own living room, but then i did, and in fact my still-on despite it all boyfriend is someone no one could ever meet anywhere. he is immensely asocial, even though he is nice.

so there you are. gripping wasn't it? i'll get my coat.
