Drove milady to the station this morning, rather late, alas: I can't think what delayed us. We've already 'gone public' so it's just finding out about how well we fit. Thus far so good. Now I have to start writing again. Also I have to be cynical and write the next novel with an eye on the bottom line, rather than trying to compose with my particular criticisms and pseudo-rebuttals of lit-crit theory.
I should remember the marketplace: no-one's ever gone broke underestimating the intelligence of the general public.
Explosions and sex it is then.

But perhaps you'd just be tapping into the general public's desire to provide pseudo-rebuttals of lit-crit theory. We cultural critics like explosions too!

Heh...yeah, some of us read fiction for entertainment & non-fiction for pondering. ^_~

Unfortunately, often times it is necessary to follow suit with the way things are done which get under your skin in order to make money doing what you want. I have my worries with that with my future endeavors. I like to think my personal take on it will allow me to succeed. However, I could be terribly, horribly wrong. Good luck with your lady and your novel. If you don't mind me asking, what do you tend to write about?
