A question for my f-list.

Rereading some of my previous entries I have come to the conclusion that I write the way I want to write: I quite like my prose, despite the obvious lack of copy-editing. But this brought up other questions, amongst them being whose prose (on my f-list) do I rate?

And then I wondered who other folks on my f-list rated.

So the question is this: of all the folk on your f-lists, whose prose do people regard highly? The rules are as follows: you may not nominate yourself as it is taken for granted that you write the way you want to write; nor may you nominate me, as I am already assured of my writing's aesthetic qualities.

My first nomination is [livejournal.com profile] kdotdammit. I enjoy her writing immensely. (Her old man can certainly spin a sentence or two as well.)

Please keep in mind this is about style, not substance. This ain't about who thinks best, but more about who puts it down most entertainingly on the page. Who do you enjoy reading, and (if you can be bothered) why?

Some of my favorite LJ "Friends" have either stopped writing here altogether or slowed to an infrequent drip. But there are still some who are going strong. I really like [livejournal.com profile] flw's entries, which are wickedly funny and express political views that I typically endorse but am too cautious to state so boldly. [livejournal.com profile] imomus is someone I follow with great interest, though it's not a mutual friendship -- he's a musician with some very dedicated fans -- because his entries are always stimulating to look at. There are plenty of others I follow with great interest, but because it's more of a personal thing, I have a hard time thinking about them objectively.

Thanks. I will check 'em both out. [Tips Hat.]
