Saw a house on Saturday morning that seemed to fit the bill. They want £700k for it. Depends on what we get offered for our house.

Apart from that small social stuff has happened, as per usual. I have to go to the Whisky Exchange to get some more Uigeadail, as I'm running out. I've managed a bottle in two weeks: evidently I need to cut down a trifle.

*Gasp you alchie :) I'm surprised the price (£50 a bottle??) hasn't calmed you down a bit, sheesh. I buy/get given cheap stuff for fixing comps and if a bottle lasts 3 days it considers itself lucky :S

Then again when I do finally manage to get me a nice bottle of Louis XIII That'll be savoured :)

The Corryvreckan used to be my fav....can you really get Uigeadail for £50? Tell me more, as I'm paying £59.95, and I thought that was relatively cheap. Bugger.

yeah I only googled it it was top one with piccies. :) Here £47.95 at whisky exchange it seems, Though I'd be unhappy if they charged a tenner for delivery too:S

Corryvreckan, never tried it, but in saying that if I got the same habits with expensive scotch as I tend to with the cheap, I'd not bet on my chances of survival when the wife read the bank statements, or met the postie delivering it, hell that would be a waste of good Scotch :S

Actually, that's a fib...it's the Corryvreckan that costs nigh on £60. Examined my bills. Such a nerd :(

lol that'd be an expensive night for me, well two if the Mrs was watching :S Though I do tend to sleep for a good 24 hours if I "do" a whole bottle these days, Hell I used to go to work the day after 1.5 Litres of Vodka, I'm sure glad I got rid of that habit :)

I've been going upscale for a little while when it comes to Whiskies. But soddit, it's one of the few bad habits I can still (just about) afford to maintain: so I will.

I can't say I blame you, I may well try and get myself a decent bottle for new-year (maybe after the party day would be best) and see if it'd be worth my while buying one every ten weeks instead of my weekly (or actually right now fortnightly, bottle of red with the occasional 1/2 bottle of cheap scotch for toothache, insomnia, winding up the wife etc... would the quality make me drink less of it, or would the cost?
