When I was 24 I went out with a girl who was 22, and brilliant. She's a professor now somewhere in Texas. I had trouble keeping up intellectually. Clever girls keep you on your toes, which is a good thing. Points of similarity and points of difference combine to make people interesting. You split up with your young lady and are now single, from what I recall. At 24 the world should be the shellfish of your choice. I'm pretty certain there many nice young women out there. I'm not saying 'cut a dash' or be a cad, but you should get out there and try again if it looks like you and your ex-fiancee aren't going to get things back together. (But I may be teaching my grandma to suck eggs here.)
