I turned around; and look what happened; after taking the test for this meme this appalling thing came up.

You are The Sun

Happiness, Content, Joy.

The meanings for the Sun are fairly simple and consistent.

Young, healthy, new, fresh. The brain is working, things that were muddled come clear, everything falls into place, and everything seems to go your way.

The Sun is ruled by the Sun, of course. This is the light that comes after the long dark night, Apollo to the Moon's Diana. A positive card, it promises you your day in the sun. Glory, gain, triumph, pleasure, truth, success. As the moon symbolized inspiration from the unconscious, from dreams, this card symbolizes discoveries made fully consciousness and wide awake. You have an understanding and enjoyment of science and math, beautifully constructed music, carefully reasoned philosophy. It is a card of intellect, clarity of mind, and feelings of youthful energy.

Now, let's examine this properly.
Youthful energy. Hahahaha.

Busie old foole, unruly Sunne,
Why dost thou thus,
Through windowes, and through curtaines call on us?
Must to thy motions lovers seasons run?
Sawcy pedantique wretch, goe chide5
Late schoole boyes, and sowre prentices,
Goe tell Court-huntsmen, that the King will ride,
Call countrey ants to harvest offices;
Love, all alike, no season knowes, nor clyme,
Nor houres, dayes, moneths, which are the rags of time.10

Thy beames, so reverend, and strong
Why shouldst thou thinke?
I could eclipse and cloud them with a winke,
But that I would not lose her sight so long:
If her eyes have not blinded thine,15
Looke, and to morrow late, tell mee,
Whether both the'India's of spice and Myne
Be where thou leftst them, or lie here with mee.
Aske for those Kings whom thou saw'st yesterday,
And thou shalt heare, All here in one bed lay.20

She'is all States, and all Princes, I,
Nothing else is.
Princes doe but play us; compar'd to this,
All honor's mimique; All wealth alchimie.
Thou sunne art halfe as happy'as wee,25
In that the world's contracted thus;
Thine age askes ease, and since thy duties bee
To warme the world, that's done in warming us.
Shine here to us, and thou art every where;
This bed thy center is, these walls, thy spheare.30

Nah, I can't be the incarnation of lust: I have a day off every now and then.

well, for the time being.

"symbolizes discoveries made fully consciousness"? *grinds teeth*

You are The Wheel of Fortune

Good fortune and happiness but sometimes a species of
intoxication with success

The Wheel of Fortune is all about big things, luck, change, fortune. Almost always good fortune. You are lucky in all things that you do and happy with the things that come to you. Be careful that success does not go to your head however. Sometimes luck can change.

Not so much, no. I have been feeling profoundly unlucky lately. Bleah. Well, maybe it's a sign things will turn soon.

I'm not much into Tarot, personally, but found this amusing given the broad and paradoxical answers which define me.

You are The Hierophant

Divine Wisdom. Manifestation. Explanation. Teaching.

All things relating to education, patience, help from superiors.The Hierophant is often considered to be a Guardian Angel.

The Hierophant's purpose is to bring the spiritual down to Earth. Where the High Priestess between her two pillars deals with realms beyond this Earth, the Hierophant (or High Priest) deals with worldly problems. He is well suited to do this because he strives to create harmony and peace in the midst of a crisis. The Hierophant's only problem is that he can be stubborn and hidebound. At his best, he is wise and soothing, at his worst, he is an unbending traditionalist.

A few of my ex's would be pleased with this I believe. They were into Tarot and used to bug me to do readings with them.

Many folk believe non-rational things, in fact, I fear almost all of us do in some way or another.
Be wise and soothing rather than hidebound and good will come of it.

I'm a very spiritual person, but as far as I know, the only other people to have had anything close to my religion were a group of monks in north Japan probably a thousand years ago or longer. They were all wiped out by the army of the Emperor at the time for heresy. However, even given that, I'm just not into a lot of the popular "mystic" stuff that floats around, and the pomp that goes with it.

That does describe me fairly well in most respects, but I find it amusing that it came up as what it did given the answers on that little survey I gave them. They so conflict each other that I'd love to see the percentage of each choice that I "fit" with that a lot of these tests do in order to decide what result you get. That must be interesting to see how close they all were.
