My political rubbish

Having put my name to a comment on a post in talk_politics  I feel I should add something.

I was born on the 21st November 1961, when this man was Prime Minister. I don't know if that fact has anything to do with my mature politics, but I do know that, along with Winston Churchill, Supermac is the Prime Minister of the UK that I most admire in the 20th Century. And I accept that he got more than a few things horrendously wrong, including the repatriation of White Russians after WWII.

But he cared. And he did his duty.
