—actually, what the hell is it? Why must it continuously inflate? Why is it never issued by sovereign nations, but only by their banks? And why do the banks get to write the legislation governing it? Hey, something's—Ooof!

True, but I couldn't fit it into Wittgenstein's opening "Tractatus" format. ankh156, who has known my cultural horizons over the years, produced a neat and fitting conclusion.

Your contribution I think would have been a bit later on. Which is not to deny its qualities.

If my memory serves me right, a good part of the Tractatus's impact was its numbering system. But it was all so long ago...
