I hope your lady gets well. It is heart-rending to see someone you love unwell. Something I used to be irked by, but now enjoy is just having someone there with me when I am not well. Not particularly talking to me, or touching me, just nearby, in the event I wish to have someone to speak to or reach out to. Perhaps when you find time, just sitting with her, even if she is sleeping will help her. I've had more than my share of experiences in hospitals, and they are dreadfully boring. Perhaps you can manage to cheer her up in a pleasant way if you can manage to lock the doors for a moment and be gentle.
