Thanks to both of you (though I'm replying to softside for convenience and proximity's sake). I rather think that my best expression comes in debate in the forum rather than a diary. I feel sometimes that the journal side of things may be just too boring, my dears.
From close reading of her posts, I think Milady Softside is a goddess (of a kind). I have LJ friends on the left and the right, mainly depending on observable intelligence, which probably renders me an intellectual snob (ouch, mea maxima culpa - do something about it Ninefingers). In the firmament of my LJ friends, Softside is at least Arcturus.
