I've probably posted this before.

So I will again

With no apologies. Don't listen if you don't want to.

Aww, sublime.

Saw the Stick Men with the Adrian Belew Power Trio last night. Fripp the sister was in attendance. Tony, Pat, and Adrian did a final trio set of crim material. Very beastly.

I don't know Fripp's sister. But if his Bobness wasn't there I agree with your post about there being a bob-sized hole in the proceedings.

Hope all is well on the barricades. :)

Yeah, I posted this song myself some time ago. It's a masterpiece.

However, I do think the tuning problems between the various sections can be rather off-putting. The 13/8 bassline is slightly sharp, dammit. Though the polyrhythmic playing of Bruford in that section is both witty and brilliant. From what I can recall, for some of it he's playing an accented straight four under a bassline of 13.

Mind you, the opening to 'One more red nightmare' is the best pisstake I've ever heard of 'Smoke on the Water'.
