When the Don was elected...
I made some predictions. One was that the Dems had lost SCOTUS for at least a decade, maybe two, and the second was that Roe vs Wade would be overturned.
With Alabama's recent bit of legislature:
www.theguardian.com/us-news/2019/may/14/abortion-bill-alabama-passes-ban-six-weeks-us-no-exemptions-vote-latest
it now looks like Roe vs Wade will get a rematch. And SCOTUS is now pretty heavily skewed after Trump's appointments.
One step closer to the Republic of Gilead.
I suppose we are going to see pregnancy refugees from the US soon. It's all going so well.

I don't think we'll see a tide of pregnancy refugees, even though my Facebook feed this morning is filled with well-intentioned pals virtue-signaling, "Alabama friends! If you need an abortion, it's still legal [insert pal location] and we will put you up in our guest room and drive you to the clinic!"
Like anyone from Alabama is going to actually see those posts. :::SNORT:::
What's more likely is a run on morning after pill prescriptions. It is a slap in the face to feminists, of course, but Alabama has long been deemed one of the worst states to live in the U.S. on the basis of its economy and horrible education system.
Georgia, which just passed almost as Draconian an anti-abortion bill, is more of a shocker because Atlanta, Georgia's largest city, is actually quite cosmopolitan.
