I'm beginning to think Pat Oliphant has a position on all this...But I really can't see any American, even from the most damaged part of US society, actually trying to assassinate Obama. It is the 21st century, surely. No-one's that mad. But whatever, as long as she's not the one pulling the trigger, Hillary as VP might be the best insurance policy Obama could have.

Nah....though I do wonder if I think humans are nicer than they actually are.

And even though GWB (like many Americans) is prepared to murder the English Language (misunderestimate being one notable neologism) that's surely a different crime.

I'm pretty certain that now, in the 21st Century, Americans are better than that.

& I really don't want to be proven wrong.

Although I have not made efforts to confirm or deny the statements, there have bee rumors that the Clintons have had suspicious deaths associated with them. Certainly among the more conservative set in Cmerica, they are considered to be extremely powerhungry(beyond the acceptable norm for politicos) and players of unethical politics.

I would not be particularly surprised if a Obama/Hill ticket wound up with a dead Obama sometime along the way after election. Saddened, yes. But not really, surprised.
