(no subject)

Okay, it goes like this....
On Friday, I drove up to Hackness, some 250 miles from where I live. Cressy and Fra have the Hall to themselves, and so asked Fra's sister Joanna and her kids, and Annabel, one of Cressy's old schoolchums. It's a small party for this New Year.
The food has been wonderful, as has the wine, but I don't get anytime to be online, and I do miss it. Got staggeringly drunk last night, which was nice right up until the headache. Laughed for what seems like hours. There has been much innocent fun, including one of the most outrageous 'Kind Hearts and Coronets' conversations imaginable. More anent, my dears. I shall have to write up my journal when I get home.

However....Happy New Year to one and all. I won't be able to get online for a few days after this so there's little point in commenting.

May the coming year give us all what we need, which is not necessarily what we want. As individuals may we learn, grow, strive, and overcome our daily obstacles. May we be good, and when we can't be, may we be careful.
