Two different takes on why Caribbean boys do badly in school.
The second article, a commentary by Tony Sewell, puts Warwick University's 'research and conclusions' in a rather different light. Also why the huge difference in achievement between boys and girls of Caribbean origin?
One also wonders why African boys do so much better than Caribbeans? Do 'Institutionally Racist' teachers differentiate between Black folk from different parts of the world? I suppose they must. Of course, swotty Asian folk also must be discriminated against, or for, or something.
Which points to the fact that the Metropolitan Police may well be institutionally racist....but teaching staff at State Schools? Hmm.
