Mick Imlah has died.
I own a copy of 'Birthmarks' (1988, Chatto). They're selling for well over $100 at present, if you can get hold of a copy: which ain't bad for a paperback of 56 pages. The only two copies that seem to be available in the UK are on sale here for £116 and £161 respectively.
With luck, next month they'll have come down in price to something more reasonable.
When Christopher Logue dies, will his firsts go through the roof? It's a good bet, and the man is in his eighties. I have three copies of Patrocleia (1962 Scorpion Press) which was a limited run of 700 odd copies,

and two more of the Ann Arbour/University of Michigan US first. There is an ex-library copy on sale at Amazon for £20. May be worth a punt.
My library is becoming uninsurable.
My car needs fettling too: a hole in the exhaust (fnarr fnarr). Perhaps I could sell some books to cover the costs of replacing aforementioned exhaust.
Perhaps not. I'd rather sell my arse on a street corner than sell my books: after all, one has to maintain standards.
