The Red Strat

The new neck on the Red Strat is pretty damn good. I may get a few microns shaved from the shoulders but that's about it. It is almost perfect straight off the production line, which is unheard of for my particular playing tastes/requirements. The roasted maple is very dark against the red of the body.

I guess we can all call each other...

...anything at all, because these things don't matter... ...and maybe we can call folk "Pedo" now without anyone taking any offence. Or maybe that should be Elon Musk's new name; after all, the US is a nation of free speech. And maybe it behoves the rest of us to use it when speaking of him. No offence meant, obvs.

The other thing that has crossed my desk recently is Jimmy Stewart's possible PTSD.

And then I thought of Jimmy Stewart more. Possibly the greatest light actor of his generation, a decent man and a lifelong Republican...

...which leads me to wonder, could Jimmy Stewart have supported the present Republican Party?
