And the deficiencies of some Anglosphere politicians when it comes to things like crisis management where all of society has to be considered.

We get the government we are prepared to foot the bill for, I guess; which is why the Germans get an efficient Angela Merkel reasonably cheaply and we Anglo-Saxons overpay for semi-useless types like BoJo and the Don. Oh well.
