Thanks to a conversation with SWMBO during Henry's feeding time I found out she had no knowledge of Pete Seeger
I was singing 'Little Boxes' to the boy and SWMBO asked me if I were making songs up again, and what did 'ticky-tacky' mean.

Now I have been known to make up songs, normally to music that already exists: I am especially fond of the 'Splody Pooh' song, which is sung to the music from the old Robin Hood TV show....if you think about it a bit revelation will slowly dawn.

But for your entertainment I present Pete Seeger:

Because it's worth knowing.

I don't care too much about Pete's politics: the songwriting, however, is flipping masterful.

And his sense of social responsibility I like too. But the Communism thing, well....I can't agree with that: but even he repudiated his championing of evil Ol' Uncle Joe.
