That is taking complaints a bit far...

"A waiter near Paris has been shot dead by a customer who was reportedly angry because his sandwich was not prepared quickly enough."
I can't imagine even the grandest 19th century Duke actually shooting a waiter for being tardy; it may have been the kitchen's fault, after all. I know that some French restaurants have reputations for slow and snooty service, but even so.
(Maybe folk do need to calm down. That Swift lass can milk a line; and there are some crackers in that song.)
Jeez, shot for being late with a sandwich. It's not like the waiter was the gunman's wife or anything, whereupon some in our society would no doubt find a way to excuse such an action.
My sins are not your sins.
Your sins are not mine.
But if each of us watches and helps the others we may avoid sin altogether. And this may be the most important point of society: we are all our brother's keepers; nevertheless interventions are still difficult. I know everyone is angry all of the time, but shooting waiting staff?
Catch the blighter and give him life without the option, and serious anger-management training; just as icing on the cake.
