I suppose everyone's been digesting the ISG report.
On a very cursory reading of a precis of the report I'm glad to find I'm not the only one with the opinions I hold. But all that could still be wrong, of course. And also, it rather looks as if GWB is going to ignore both the bi-partisan report and his own party. It could be Churchillian, or it could be Deranged Hubris; time will tell, but as of now my money's on DH, but again I could be wrong.

I have to prepare the donations given to us personally, either at the funeral, or delivered through the post. I'll take in the ones for CAFOD on Monday afternoon, and thank everyone for all their kindness (again). I'll prepare the donations to other charities and post them Tuesday.

The Brother has invited Mum and me for Christmas, which is on the Monday. I'm due in Hackness, which is North Yorkshire, for New Year's the weekend after. And what's worse, one of my oldest and dearest chums, Nick, has invited me to his New Year's do, which hasn't been held for a couple of years due to circumstances beyond his control.
I'm not normally this popular. I think people are being kind.
