The 'get in' is always so horrible, and parking is even worse. Will have to get my congestion charge sorted before I go in. I might call in at the Studio and see Steve before I head for the Soundcheck.
I haven't practised enough this week, so it might all go tits up, as the phrase is. Hope not.
At last year's Ball my amp blew up. I pray I have no kit problems tonight.
Also shall have to pay proper respects to Miladies Euterpe, Terpsichore, and Erato. (It is a dance band, and the Ball is for The Corporation of Ireland....Irish and English grandees vying with each other to spend the largest amount of money for charitable purposes.)
There may even be an intelligent, attractive, and elegant woman present, without an escort.
Unlikely, but one can live in hope.
The dance band has a couple of gigs coming up in Cannes, in March. I have to get my passport sorted. I don't know if we'll fly, or drive, or take the train as yet. If I drive, I may call in on![[personal profile]](https://www.dreamwidth.org/img/silk/identity/user.png)
