This was delivered today. Thanks to
ankh156 for the pointer. It is a first in hardback, of course, from 1987. I have the paperback (which was the true first from some years previously - 1983 to be precise) winging it's way to me as I write. Some of Moorcock's works were the same: I seem to recall owning the paperback version of 'Condition of Muzak' well before it came out in hardback. Yesterday I picked up a delivery of an almost complete run of the rudest comics I'd ever want to see. Anything worse than this, no thanks. All I need now is a single room for all my books. I shall see her ladyship and demand a library before we get to the inevitable lunacy of a nursery. (Yeah, right - I can just see me putting my foot down
there.)
