First post of the New Year
Jan. 4th, 2010 10:09 pmSo....
Christmas was very good. The mother the wife and I went to a chum's for Christmas lunch.
New Year's Eve was at Fra and Cressy's in London. Got pretty squiffy.
Still haven't found the right house, if we're even going to move: but we're noticing a distinct lack of space. Madame has tried to put an embargo upon me buying books, but that's not happening now, really, is it? Nevertheless, shelf space is at a premium, as the phrase is.
Age creeps up on one rather unheralded apart from the odd grey hair.
I managed to do sod all practice this last few weeks. Perhaps I'm finally coming to terms with my 'career' in music being pretty much over. Maybe I need to settle down and teach what I know to folk who could use the information....and pay, of course.
Nadia_Boulanger I'm not though, alas. But maybe that's something to aim for.
May your year be better than this last one. May your joys be great and your woes be minimal. May every good deed you do return to you with happiness. Gladness and grace attend each and every one of you.
Go well and do good things.
