I fucking hate locked wards.
I fucking hate waiting for ten minutes for someone to let you in...then the sounds of the keys and locks being fastened against any escape. It's a real 'Norman Stanley Fletcher' moment. And what's sad is he's not a danger to anyone but himself, so why lock him up?
Most of the others on the ward seemed okay, but I fear there were one or two predatory types, and a couple of crazies attracted to violent forms of self expression.
Jeremy is mad, however. He now thinks he's the 'real' Jimmy Page and is wondering where his royalties have got to....excepting, he also thinks he's a consultant psychiatrist employed by the hospital. If there are any violent chaps in with him I hope he doesn't antagonise them with his delusions.
The time travel delusional stuff has become more acute as well. He thinks one of the chaps on the ward with him is Juan (an old schoolchum). I tried telling him Juan was still in Oxford...but to no avail alas.
Fuckitfuckitfuckit.
Thank the Gods that he is at least not miserable.

Friday/Sat would be better this week because I have to go to Nick's in the evening to pick up keys (am cat feeding etc sometime on Sat); and I'm in TPA until 6pm Thurs anyway. If it's already set and tickets booked, then we'll find a way around it. I may bring the 'Twin' back from TPA. I have an electric piano in the room in which you'll be staying, as well as guitars, so, hopefully, you'll feel right at home. I could always bring my old-fashioned pedalboard back from TPA too, but this means cars and congestion charges and other bollocks.
Look forward to seeing you. I'll have to tidy up. Blast.

Don't we have to go to TPA to pick up the Leslie ? We could go in by tube and bring it back that way (it's got 2 handles, and it's not too heavy, if memory serves...). I'll probably arrive about 9pm thursday evening. I can make it friday if you like, but it'll mean coming home sunday, when everything (this side) is shut. Actually, shouldn't make that much difference. I'm bidding on a Hammond T200 that's in Kensal, and there's a guy in Pinner who has a Boss RT20 for me (and I have £100 for him). I'm on holiday, so it's pretty much all the same to me, I thought of thurs-sat to leave you free for an eventual gig on saturday evening.

I'm going 'round in circles...

Please decide for me.

The Leslie is at my place, not at TPA...so that's not a problem. It's just the keys I have to pick up from Nick. If you could get to mine for 8pm you could come with me, or I could leave you in the flat whilst I went to Wimbledon. Not gigging this Sat. but it's whatever suits you. m'dear. You have my address and I hope telephone number. If not email me and I'll mail you back.
Look forward to some six string workouts...I want to pick your brains about the Jazzier side of things, esp Django.
You can stay lomger if you'd like, but it is on a blow up mattress on the musicroom floor.
