I'm having increasing difficulty in reading my friends page. I have to scroll across the screen to finish sentences. Everything's too fucking wide for my 17" monitor. This is getting boring. LJ is the only program to do this. If anyone asks, it's just too much of a fag to read all of your stuff: sorry.

That's because somebody's linking-in pictures which are too wide.

That's strange. I think I have the same sized screen, and I don't have any problems reading it. Perhaps there is a setting you can switch within your LJ account?

It's the fabiani photo. It's screwed up your friends view. That's happened to me before. Maybe tell your friend to make the photo smaller or put behind the cut.

There's an LJ setting that'll create placeholders for all images, so it doesn't mess with your friends page. You'd have to click on any pictures posted by friends, but I usually find it's worth it.

I don't know how to do it off the top of my head; I always have to look it up in the FAQ.

I've actually had that happen a few times when LJ's css got screwed up... but for me a reload fixed it.
