For some reason or other this resonates.
However, I doubt I could date anyone half my age plus seven (which is 30). In general I prefer women my own age. Not that I'm excessively prejudiced against the young.

At 24 the world should be the shellfish of your choice. I'm pretty certain there many nice young women out there. I'm not saying 'cut a dash' or be a cad, but you should get out there and try again if it looks like you and your ex-fiancee aren't going to get things back together. (But I may be teaching my grandma to suck eggs here.)

Date: 2008-01-27 10:25 pm (UTC)There are many lovely and smart women in this town, but realistically serious commitments right now are tough- it's a college-only town, and I'm only going to be here maybe 18 or 24 months more. Regardless, I am open to interested women, but I'm not looking...graduate studies are demanding timewise.
