Though the similarity to the first one is....obvious. But there's a quality to the harmonic and melodic imagination that is at least appealing in it's ability to do both surprise, and convince that slightly-more-than-ordinarily 'difficult' changes can constitute a musical argument comprehensible to the non-expert listener.
Now if it was only coupled with a wry self-reflectory wit, and I'd back it all the way. Earnestness is all very well, but....
