Just when you think the Labour Party have made complete idiots of themselves over the ACMD, and the Tories were an absolute shoe-in the media finally wakes up to the Tories EU stance. Not that I've been going on about it for months or anything.

The Tories are going to be even worse than the present government. That is truly scary. Small minded petty bourgeois islanders. I recall the derivation of the word 'insular'. Bliss, bliss, bliss. The time has come to move to France: excepting Madame ain't qualified under French law, dammit. Never mind, we can always comfort ourselves with the Tories European allies: gay-hating apologists for the SS. By your friends are ye known.

And on a seperate note, Good old Boris. I shall not vote for him, but at least he's a civic-minded decent bloke when it comes to the crunch. I think I owe the man a drink. Noble sort of chap, but a bit deluded on the political front, as so many of his type are. [Tips hat and inclines head.]

haw! i like the idea of autistic tories, it makes such a lot of sense!

i feel for the poor europeans that have to deal with our horrid tories. or, for that matter, our horrid tonys and mandys.

it's best to have boris where we can see him. these sort of chaps can end up being pension stealers or arms dealers when you are not looking.

With Boris, we know he's a shagger, not an embezzler. We all have our sins, and from what I can see, his fit in with classical Tory behaviour. Good on him, he at least has the spirit to do it loud, with his Marshall on eleven. But I doubt that he'd ever put his hand in the till....just be a bit barking about Europe, and sleep with the wrong persons' wife. If only he loved good Brandy and cigars he could be the perfect 21st century version of the political clubman of yore. It's not a bad pose, both politically and in actuality. Goes with the charisma. But I do wonder, if like Heseltine, he isn't fatally flawed. One of the nasty things about ambition is it is fed by success, and almost always ends in hubris, finishing in disaster. Dave is more able and slippery: he reminds me less of Tony Bluech and more and more of some bizarre Tory variation of the Harold Wilson type. (There, I've said it first - bastards can quote me from here on in.)

Don't....what can you do when you can do nothing?
Snide remarks from within, even if truthful, don't change the Great British voting public's mind. Gordon is, as far as they are concerned, a busted flush. So they'll replace him with....Ye gods, someone allied to SS apologists.

I though Sarkozy was a little beyond the pale, in the Berlusconi sense, but Dave is never going to put his hand in the till either. Nevertheless what fucking stupid positions he takes on things....but even then not as Barking as Boris.

Dagenham Dave and Barking Boris, what a dynamic duo.
