I've been thinking about racism more.
I've got problems with not being able to take the piss out of people (or myself for that matter) based on personal characteristics like culture or colour, sensitive though these issues are. Something to do with conflicting rights. The right of free speech and the right of folk not to feel unjustly prejudiced against.
I'm not certain that free speech is necessarily a right that takes precedence in the hierarchy as outlined in the model given by Kant  with his categorical moral imperative, but I feel too stupid at the moment to think this through. (This is the morning after the second night without sleep, so my cognitive faculties are somewhat diminished.)
But when the rugger's on I want to be nasty about the Welsh, Scots, Irish, French & Italians, though these aren't races per se, just nations and cultures.
And when we play Arsenal on Wednesday, I want to swear at the damn French for providing the enemy with the ammunition to beat us (because I know we'll lose dammit). Why does the best manager in the league happen to be French? And why didn't we get him. It's all envy and inadequacy - perhaps that is all racism is.

On a better note, I'm finally going to highdown tearooms. I shall pick up Posh Stephen from Petworth after lunch, and we shall pootle to the teahouse wherein I shall order a pot of Earl Grey and a scone.

Racism is just racial stereotyping and stereotyping is a vital part of our brain without being able to make quick judgments of animals, people or situations etc we'd soon run into problems. We are simply meant to further explore and re-evaulate these stereotypes at a later or safer point however in many situation people don't feel comfortable just going up and talking to these others so they build up and reinforce an image until they meet someone and break it at which point it slowly erodes away but is still an instinctive thought/reaction for a long while.

As long as you do it on a personal basis and to the people faces you'll find most of the time you can be as un-PC as you want as most people are good cunts who don't care and can tell the difference between jokes and serious beliefs.
