Which only goes to show that old socialists have absolutely no grasp whatsoever of the realities of our present situation. They aren’t going to get a chance. It has to be said McDonnell and Corbyn as advised by Milne, etc. are actually either totally fucking clueless, or they are actively attempting to assist a hard Brexit. Which means they are happy to repudiate the GFA too.
it is rapidly becoming apparent that our only hope is the Remain coalition of LibDems/Greens/SNP. Labour is an ideological wasteland full of delusional or mendacious wankers, or folk who can only think along old-fashioned tribal lines which are no longer relevant in the modern age.
So when Boris loses a vote of no confidence and calls a general election for Thursday, November 7th, seven days after we crash out of the EU without a deal, McDonnell thinks it will be a simpler matter to fix things post hoc rather than prevent things altogether.
This is where I start to giggle uncontrollably. Nurse, I need more medication.
