And instead of throwing the GFA under a bus, he is going to throw the Unionists out of the window, excepting that throws the GFA under a bus as well. The GFA guaranteed both communities a say in their futures.

The Unionists are going to kick up a stink.

Saturday’s sitting in Parliament is going to be quite a spectacle. I guess we are going to have a second confirmatory referendum with the option of staying.

I’m not sure the figures add up for him to get it past the House; but it may be that Labour, the SN and LibDems will try to get amendments, most of which will include a second referendum. But he may be able to juggle the numbers.

I’d bet on a second referendum now, but not more than £20.

I think so; and if that were the case I think things might get a bit sticky.

Juncker has stated there won’t be an extension.

Boris may just get this through. Jesus wept. Nothing Boris manages to do surprises me any more. Some bastards really do throw sequential double-sixes.

I do hope Juncker was not speaking for the EU when he suggested no extension was available.
