This is why I can't stand Democrat congresscritters and their ilk. Instead of standing up for what they say they believe, they play politics and vote to stay elected and so crap like this passes.

I'd rather take someone who takes flak for what they believe on a regular basis than someone who tries to stay in power.

This wasn't meant to offend you, m'dear, nor your faith: just to deal with my outrage, and to find things that would offend the people who passed this.
In fact, if everyone were to begin all their calls with a pro-terrorist statement it would be irresponsible.
However, I can't help but feel angry.

The thing is I admire lots about the US. The Constitution is a great work, by great people. It irritates the fuck out of me when they do this sort of thing.
Just like the eventual camera in my loo, I suppose if they really want to monitor me or you, they can: I'd just have a tendency to introduce some white noise into the equation, cause I don't approve of being overheard when I don't want to be.
Canada's a fantastic country, and you retain some privacy mainly because you have space. Vast amounts of it.
Nevertheless, it appears the modern world will leave us without our figleaves. Next time I'm on the 'phone to she who must be obeyed I shall go into graphic detail (which is unusual for me), but alas 'twill be about carnality rather than freedom, but a chap's got to have a hobby.

But George Bush is protecting us from attacks on our freedoms. I remember when I had an attack on my freedom. I was drinking my Bud, watching Jerry Springer, when all of a sudden I got a sudden weird feeling down my body. Suddenly my pants were all wet and funny smelling. It was then I knew that my freedoms were under attack.
