johnny9fingersAnkh left for France this morning. He's given me a few ideas about the sort of direction I should be taking my playing. It's always good to talk to someone who's serious about guitar and music. He's welcome anytime, especially if he brings that Hammond clone. What a great sound: I want one even though I'm a lousy keyboardist.
I hope he has a safe journey home and I hope the Leslie is in perfect working order.
He left me half a case of V. decent French red wine and avoided any attempt of mine to pay him for it.. Dash it all, he's a generous and decent chap and I feel I should have done more to insist on covering the costs of the wine. Never mind.
He got on well with Em and Nick, which was a plus.
We have to try to persuade Em to set up an LJ account so I can be cruel to her from a distance. Either that, or I shall have to disable anonymous postings. (Unlikely)
